Lyn Rayburn, 67, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 3:00 PM at the Hereford Senior Citizens Center with Rev. Orville Blum officiating. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Lyn was born on August 25, 1954, in Glendive, Montana, to Don and Helen Noyes. Lyn grew up in Hereford and Dumas, Texas, graduating from Dumas High School in 1971. Lyn married the father of her children, Don Bagwell on December 27, 1971, they were married for 22 years. She later met and fell in love with Michael Rayburn, and they married in Dallas, Texas on November 5, 2002. She and Michael lived in Dallas, Corpus Christie, and later Jamaica. Lyn has been a resident of Hereford, Texas, these last 4 years where she was the Executive Director of the Hereford Senior Citizens Center, where she was deeply loved and admired for her hard work and dedication that she poured into the Hereford Senior Citizens Center. Lyn was a member of the Hereford Lions Club; she enjoyed belly dancing, cooking, family gatherings, reading and playing games. She had a great fondness for Mexican food and margaritas; she had a talent of restoring old furniture which she called her "Furniture Rescue and Shelter." Lyn loved life and people, to know Lyn and be her friend was to love her. She will be dearly missed by so many.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Mike Rayburn of Hereford, Texas, her daughter Christie Lord and her partner Eddie Laury of San Antonio, Texas, and her son Russell Bagwell and his wife Ashlee of Houston, Texas; 2 sisters Angie Hammons and her husband Steve of Amarillo, Texas, and Amy Noyes and her partner Angeline Reinart of Tulsa, OK., 2 brothers David Noyes and his wife Leslie of Havana, FL., and Tim Noyes of Amarillo, Texas; 5 grandchildren Stevie, Preston, Ben, Anna, Colton and Sydney and 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Lyn is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Helen Noyes.
