Luis Carlos "Charlie" Tarango Sr., 40, of Clovis, NM, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. Arrangements and Cremation Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Charlie was born on August 8, 1983, in Dodge City, Kansas, to Rogelio Tarango and Ana Irene Mendoza Chavez. Charlie worked in construction and was currently working as a private contractor doing home repairs.

Charlie enjoyed working on his truck, riding motorcycles, and camping. He also loved dogs. Charlie was hardworking, dedicated, funny, outgoing, and talkative.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, children Tianna Tarango and her fiancé Emmanuel of Hereford, Texas, Luis Carlos Tarango, Jr. of Hereford, Texas; Desairee Tarango of Oklahoma, and Ramon Tarango of Oklahoma; sisters Perla Tarango and Julie Tarango both of Clovis, New Mexico; cousins, Uriel, Albert, Jocelyn, Brianna, Jonathan and many other loved cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
