Luis Abram Aguilar, 31, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in Lubbock, Texas. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Barn Church of Hereford, Texas, with Pastor Guy Walker officiating. Burial to follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. The viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 2:00-8:00 PM, rosary will be recited at 5:00 PM and a prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM all at the funeral home.

Luis was born on August 27, 1993, in Amarillo, Texas, to his parents, Luis and Olga (Cortez Garcia) Aguilar. Luis has been a resident of the surrounding area all his life. He was a truck driver/dispatcher for Champion Feeders for the last 7 years. He met and fell in love with Alexis Mungia, and on December 25, 2018, they were united, and together they had a beautiful life and 3 wonderfully made children. Luis enjoyed hosting cookouts for his family and friends. He was an avid Falcons Fan but had to endure his family who rooted for the Cowboys on Sunday's. He had many hobbies, such as golfing, riding a Harley, vacationing with his family, going to his nieces and nephews' sporting events and working way too much, but above all these passions and love of his life were his 3 boys and his wife. He loved to play indoors and outdoors with them, taking the boys for rides in his semi, and going to the Monster Jam Shows with them.  Luis' presence, smile and laughter will be missed by all who loved him dearly.

Those left to cherish and treasure his memories are his wife, Alexis Mungia of Hereford, Texas, and his three boys, Kyrie, Damian and Xander Aguilar all of the home; his parents, Luis and Olga Aguilar of Amarillo, Texas; his brothers, Angel Uriel and Isaiah Aguilar both of Amarillo, and Antonio Aguilar and his wife Sonya and their two girls, Aliyah and Anali all of Hereford, Texas; his mother-in-law, Aretha Padilla of Hereford, Texas, and father-in-law, Julian Mungia and his wife Udele of Hereford, Texas; his 4 sisters-in-law, Alyssa Torress Nunez and her husband George Nunez and their two children Grayson and Mary Elizabeth Nunez, Makayla Mungia, Makyra Mungia and Aaliyah Baca all of Hereford, Texas; his 3 brothers-in-law, Gilbert Hernandez and his wife Sherrye and their 3 children Hannah, Hailey and Hayden Hernandez all of Lubbock, Texas, Malaki Mungia and his girlfriend Mia of Hereford, Texas and Adrian Hernandez of Ft. Worth, Texas, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Luis is joining his sister, Cecilia Aguilar, in heaven.

Luis Abram Aguilar, de 31 años, de Hereford, Texas, falleció el domingo 23 de febrero de 2025, rodeado de su amada familia en Lubbock, Texas. Los Servicios de Celebración de la Vida se llevarán a cabo el viernes 28 de febrero de 2025 a las 2:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Barn de Hereford, Texas, con el pastor Guy Walker oficiando. Luis nació el 27 de agosto de 1993 en Amarillo, Texas, hijo de sus padres, Luis y Olga (Cortez García) Aguilar. Luis ha sido un residente de los alrededores toda su vida. Fue conductor de camiones/despachador de Champion Feeders durante los últimos 7 años. Conoció y se enamoró de Alexis Mungia, y el 25 de diciembre de 2018 se unieron, y juntos tuvieron una hermosa vida y 3 hijos maravillosamente hechos. A Luis le gustaba organizar comidas al aire libre para su familia y amigos. Era un ávido fanático de los Falcons, pero tuvo que soportar a su familia, que apoyaba a los Cowboys los domingos. Tenía muchos pasatiempos, como jugar al golf, andar en Harley, vacacionar con su familia, ir a los eventos deportivos de sus sobrinos y trabajar demasiado, pero por encima de todas estas pasiones y amor de su vida estaban sus 3 hijos y su esposa. Le encantaba jugar con ellos en interiores y exteriores, llevar a los chicos a dar paseos en su semirremolque e ir a los espectáculos de Monster Jam con ellos.  La presencia, la sonrisa y la risa de Luis serán extrañadas por todos los que lo querían mucho.
