Lorenzo Anima, 70, of Hereford, Texas passed away on December 10, 2017. There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation services are being handled by Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Lorenzo was born to Santiago and Sarah (Vaquera) Anima in Mexico. He married Enedina Fierro in 1971 in Clovis, New Mexico. He has been a resident of Hereford since 1975. Lorenzo farmed for Cory Walden farms for more than 40 years, he loved baseball, he played semi-pro in Mexico, and was also a Kids Inc coach, he loved spending time with his family. Lorenzo was a very hard worker, he taught his children how to work hard. During his illness he always had strong faith and was a fighter till the very end.

He is survived by his wife Enedina Anima of Hereford, Texas, 3 daughters Sara Arredondo and husband Carlos of Hereford, Texas, Diana Covarrbia of Levelland, Texas Margaret Moya and husband Richard of Amarillo, Texas. 3 Sons, Jimmy Anima and wife Anna of Hereford, Texas Jose Lorenzo Anima and wife Sophia, and Alfredo Anima and wife Rebecca all of Spearman, Texas. 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. 4 sisters all of Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild, Leticia Herrera.
