Lewis "Bud" Fetsch, 74, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Hereford.

Lewis was born on December 18, 1950, in Littlefield, Texas to Felix and Wilhemine (Albus) Fetsch. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1970 and then served in the United States Army. Lewis married Marcia (Homer) in Hereford, and they lovingly remained together until her death in 2008. He spent his career as a farmer and, outside of work, had an interest in gun collecting and trap shooting. Lewis had the joy of reuniting with a high school friend Wanda Dyke in 2012. They have spent the last several years enjoying time together and traveling to the mountains. Lewis valued simplicity, preferring a quiet and private life filled with hard work and quality time shared with his family and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Wilhemine Fetsch, three infant brothers, wife Marcia Fetsch, brothers-in-law Carol Birkenfeld, Jerry Lange, and Dennis Weeg; and nephew Paul Birkenfeld.

He is survived by his fiancé Wanda Dyke of Hereford, Texas; son Benjamin Fetsch of Hereford, Texas, siblings, Mildred Birkenfeld and Judy Lange of Nazareth, Texas, Pauline George and husband C.W. of Dimmitt, Texas, Regina Weeg of Canyon, Texas, David Fetsch and wife Cindy of Hereford, Dorothy Schwertner and husband Curtis of Dumas, Texas, and Ronald Fetsch and wife Debbie of Hereford, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside Services honoring Lewis will be scheduled at a later date and time.
