Leaton B. Noyes, 74, a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away on Saturday May 4, 2024, in Amarillo, Texas. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 2pm at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel with burial of cremains to follow at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Cremation Services are entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Leaton Benard Noyes was born on June 28, 1949, in Hereford, Texas to Benjamin Benard Noyes, Jr. and Dorthy Aileen Owens. He was raised most of his life in Hereford. He graduated from Hereford High and later drafted into the Marine Corps. He proudly served during the Vietnam War and was a true patriot. After serving our country he returned to his loving grandparents home in Hereford. Leaton met the love of his life Joann Sciumbto at the traffic light in front of St. Anthony's Church where they later married, and were blessed with three loving daughters.

Leaton was a God loving man who read his bible faithfully and enjoyed going to church on Sundays, if unable to attend in person he would watch services online. Leaton was the most loving, patient, kindhearted man that would do anything to help anyone in need. He never met a stranger and was loved by his family and all who knew him. He was a dedicated, hardworking truck driver who drove coast to coast as well as locally. He was an avid sports fan who supported the HERD and attended WT football and basketball games. He enjoyed watching WWE, westerns, war movies, listening to the oldie's music especially Elvis Presley and spending time with family that he loved unconditionally. He was a proud volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids' Sake.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 52 years, Joann Noyes, of the home; his caring daughters Cindy LaComb and  husband Jimmy, Sabrina Lee and husband Charles, Kayla Liscano and husband Toby all of Hereford, Texas; grandchildren Shelby Lowrey and husband Dane, Nathan and Braden LaComb, Matthew Noyes, Hailey Lee, Brianna, Isabella and Cameron Liscano: siblings Lonnie Noyes of Hereford, Dale Noyes of Brownwood, Tx, Anna Noyes of Hobbs NM and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his loving mother-in-law.
