Laura Hernandez, 34, of Hereford passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 in Hereford. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM at La Iglesia de San Jose Catholic Church with Rev. Ramon Molina officiating. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford. Rosary will be Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Viewing will begin at 12:00 PM on Tuesday at La Iglesia de San Jose Catholic Church of Hereford up until 4:00 PM.

Laura was born March 3, 1984 in San Juan DeGuadalupe, Durango, Mexico to Manuel B. and Ramona (Cervantes) Hernandez. She married Humberto Adame Ortiz in 2003. Laura was a member of La Iglesia de San Jose Catholic Church and was very involved in all activities of the church, she also volunteered in cleaning the church. Laura was a friend to all, she was always helping those in need and you never saw her without her beautiful smile. Her daughters say, "She was the best and most perfect mother anyone could ever have."

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Humberto Adame Ortiz, two daughters, Kayla and Yaritza Adame all of Hereford; her parents, Manuel B. and Ramona Hernandez of Hereford; a brother, Adrian Hernandez and his wife Soila of Hereford; three sisters, Sonia Hernandez and her husband Alfredo Lira of Mexico; Noelia Hernandez and her husband Ignacio Espino and Karla Flores and her husband Guadalupe all of Hereford; her maternal grandparents, Luis Cervantes and Maria DeJesus Espino of Mexico; her in-laws, Cristobal Adame and Ortencia Ortiz of Mexico; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Laura is preceded in death by a brother, Manuel Hernandez and a sister, Laura Alicia Hernandez; her paternal grandmother, Luisa Hernandez and her paternal great grandmother, Maria Olvera.
