Kurt Lookingbill passed on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the age of 60 at his home in Hereford. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held later with his family and close friends.

Kurt was born to his loving parents, Freddy Lookingbill and Ruby Brewton in Hereford, Texas, on July 11, 1964. Kurt was a long-time Hereford resident. He graduated from Minatare, Nebraska Class of '82 Kurt worked in the cattle business before moving into agriculture, where he found his true calling.  He worked with farmers in the Texas Panhandle for 20 plus years and was known for his dedication and hard work ethic. Kurt was loved and cared for by his customers who appreciated all his hard work.

Kurt had a big heart and loved his family dearly; he truly enjoyed any family gathering. He loved his motorcycles, and the Chiefs were his team. Kurt enjoyed watching sports and enjoyed playing some golf. He was active in the NRA and had a passion for it. Kurt had a special place in his heart for his dogs that he loved wholeheartedly.

Those left to carry on his uplifting spirit and legacy are his loving siblings, Alan McCright and his wife Lynette of Canyon, Texas, Kelly Lookingbill and his wife Tonya of Friona, Texas, Kimberly Fry and her husband David of Fort Worth, Texas, Andy McCright and his wife Viki of Parkland, Florida, Alison Martin and her husband Shorty of Aspermont, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; his fur baby's, Pepper and Zoee of Hereford, Texas.

Those preceding him in passing are his parents, Freddy Lookingbill, Ruby Brewton and Sandra Lookingbill; brother-in-law, Ned Swink.
