Kevin Mathew Cano passed away at the age of 31 years old in Hereford, Texas. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 2pm at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Rodriguez officiating. The Cano family has entrusted Funeral and Cremation Services to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford. A family and friend visitation will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Kevin was born to his loving parents, Victor Martinez, Jr. and Mary Ann (Cano) Martinez on April 23, 1992, in Hereford, Texas. Kevin was born and raised in Hereford and was a long-time resident of Hereford. Kevin graduated from Hereford High class of 2011. He had three beautiful children and one baby blessing on the way. Kevin always made sure to include his children and wherever he went his children went with him.

Kevin was a jack of all trade, with such a strong work ethic. He worked for many years as a butcher at the meat market and enjoyed working. Kevin loved to be family oriented and spend time cooking out and hanging with his loved ones. Kevin enjoyed cruising around listening to music and vibing. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan and loved his team. Kevin had a smile and laugh that was contagious, he would greet strangers and his loved ones with "Hello Mate" and always made someone smile with "Merica". Kevin was loved by so many and will be missed greatly by his children and family.

Those left to carry on his legacy and loving spirit is his mother, Mary Ann Martinez of Hereford, Texas; his children, X'zayvian Cano, Sarai Cano, Aryanna Cano and one baby blessing on the way, all of Hereford, Texas; his caring siblings, Kayla Cano and her husband Jesus, Dinah Castillo and her husband Angel, Lydia McBride and her husband Bret, Victor Martinez, Marissa Garza, Adrian Rodriguez, Rene Lopez, Jr. and his wife Elisha, Anthony Lopez, Hayden Lopez all of Hereford, Texas; numerous nieces and nephew; many loving tios and tias.

Those preceding him in passing are his father Victor Martinez Jr.; his daughter, Anavae Cano; his maternal grandparents, Eloy and Eudelia Cano; his tio, Danny Cano; his cousin, Ricky Barboza, III.
