Kelly Jo Dewbre, 62, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. Celebration of Life service will be on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nathan Adams with First Baptist Church of Hereford officiating. Burial to follow at Rest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 3:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Kelly was born on June 21, 1960, in Midland, Texas, to Thomas Leroy and Marlene Joan (Hillwig) Long. Kelly has been a resident of Hereford since 1994. She was employed with Marn Tyler Real Estate for approximately eight years, then went to work for Shurfleet Trucking for several years and later being employed with The Pump House in a secretarial position for 15 years. Kelly was a member of the Hereford Elks Lodge for six years. In Kelly's younger years she enjoyed bowling, her vegetable garden and crafts with her children and nieces and nephews. Kelly was an amazing cook and baker; everyone loved her sweet tea, taco soup, stew and so many other famous "Kelly Dishes". She loved entertaining her family and friends, scratch off tickets, gambling, playing games on her laptop, always ready to help anyone in need, but her greatest love and joy in her life was her children and grandchildren. Kelly was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children Candace Esqueda and her husband Cameron of Amarillo, Texas, Cory Dewbre and Alma Montano of Hereford, Texas, and Christa Webb of Mangum, Oklahoma; a sister Lori Long of Hereford, Texas and a brother Gary Long of Hereford, Texas; 10 grandchildren Christian, Andrew, Jordan, Pistal, Camron, Kyra, R.J., Serrina, Thomas, and Cassie; a brother-in-law Doug Rampley and several nieces and nephews.

Kelly is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Barry Long and a sister Sheree Rampley.
