Kehlani Eva Hernandez, 9 months old, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 in Hereford, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lorenzo Martinez officiating.

Due to the mandate that has been placed on the funeral home at this time because of the COVID-19 virus, there will only be (10) people allowed to attend this service.

Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home will be live streaming this service on their Facebook page. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Kehlani was born June 28, 2019 in Peoria, Arizona to Alize Medina. Alize and her two children have been residents of Hereford for about 4 months, moving from El Paso and Arizona. Kehlani loved eating her rice Krispy cookies, making funny faces, listening to music and dancing along with the tunes. Her mother says, "for a 9-month-old she loved to talk and to argue". She enjoyed having her kangaroo carrier on her, she liked to pull hair, give high-fives, head bumps (topes), giggle and loved playing with her big brother Jayden.

Those left to cherish her sweet memories are her mother Alize Medina and her boyfriend Cai both of Hereford, her big brother Jayden Medina of Hereford; her maternal grandparents Valerie Saenz and her husband Carlos of Hereford and maternal grandfather William Stubbs and his wife Patricia of Midland, Texas; maternal great grandmother Amalia Saenz of El Paso, Texas, three aunts Ebony and Natalie Diaz both of El Paso, Texas and Alyssa Saenz of Hereford and an uncle Willie Stubbs of Hereford; two great aunts Meghan Ann Rey and her husband Michael and Monica Mijarez and her husband Jonathan all of El Paso, Texas and a great uncle David Saenz and his wife Lizette of Seattle, Washington.

Family has requested that in honor of Kehlani that those who would like to send there love and support would release pink balloons at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 25, 2020.
