Kathryn Elaine Musser, 80, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas.

A Family and Friend Visitation will be on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Central Church of Christ in Hereford with Kurtis Flood officiating. Arrangements and Cremation Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Kathryn was born on July 3, 1945, in Sterling, Oklahoma, to Ernest and Gladys (Sanders) Flood. The family relocated to Hereford in 1948, where she began her education and graduated from Hereford High School in 1963. Kathryn held positions at B&R Thriftway, served as the Meals on Wheels Coordinator for the Hereford Senior Citizens, and was employed at First Baptist Kindergarten. She was a faithful member of the Central Church of Christ.

For the past 15 years, Kathryn has volunteered as a pink lady with the Hereford Hospital Auxiliary. She loved to crochet and made many beautiful blankets for hospital newborns. Kathryn enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, and planting flowers.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, son Ken Uloth of San Antonio, Texas; daughters Dana Minchew and her husband Kyle of Canyon, Texas; and Tonya Musser of Hereford, Texas; two grandchildren, Shelby Hoffman and her husband Amos and Stephen Minchew and his wife Lacy; three great grandchildren, Liam, James, and Walker Minchew; and two brothers Ernest Flood and his wife Carmen and Joe Flood and his wife Karen, both of Hereford, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Gladys Flood, brother Darrell Flood, and sister Grace Jones.
