Judy Hillwig Greenblott, 76, of Hereford passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in Amarillo. Cremation services are being handled by Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Judy was born September 16, 1941 in Butler, Pennsylvania to Theodore Roosevelt and Marie (McElravey) Hillwig. Judy grew up in East Brady, Pennsylvania where she graduated high school and college earning her Masters along with several other degrees. She married Fred Greenblott and they moved to Framingham, Massachusetts, where she lived much of her life until Fred's death. Judy then moved to Idaho for a short while to be with her son and they then moved to Arizona. Judy moved to Hereford in 2014 to be close to family. She loved to shop and bake but the true love of her life was her grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Julie Magee of Connecticut, three grandchildren, Frederick Greenblott, Josey Greenblott and Jessica Magee, and two brothers Ron Hillwig of Florida and Jim (Jumbo) Hillwig of Pennsylvania, along with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Greenblott and her son, Ted Greenblott.
