Juan "Coco" Escamilla 79, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020 in Hereford. Cremation services have been entrusted Mendez-Mullins Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Juan was born on March 8, 1941 in Jourdanton, Texas to Jesus and Gregoria (Arcedondo) Escamilla. He married his wife Marie, who preceded him in death 22 years ago. Juan was a funny person who joked around all the time and was known as "Coco." In his free time, he liked to garden and was known to have a green thumb. His passion was upholstery work which he took great pride in. Juan was a member of San Jose Catholic Church of Hereford, Texas.

Those left to cherish his memories are his siblings: Alfonso Escamilla of Hereford, Texas, Eva Casarez of Amarillo, Texas, Francis Lopez of Lubbock, Texas, Jesse Escamilla and his wife Gloria of Hereford, Texas, Tony Escamilla and his wife Connie of Hereford, TX, Oscar Escamilla and his wife Beatrice of Ft. Collins, CO, and George Escamilla and his wife Angel of Amarillo, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents: Jesus and Gregoria Escamilla, his wife Marie Escamilla; and siblings: Alice Gonzales, Paul Escamilla, Mary Morales, Angie Pina, and Anita Escamilla.
