Jose Arturo Rivera Puentes, 21, of Hereford, Texas, died on Monday, May 15, 2017 in Deaf Smith County. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Thurday, May 18, 2017 at Mendez & Mullins Family Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at La Iglesia de San Jose with Reverend Henry Wilson Rodriguez, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Urireo GTO, Mexico at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Mendez & Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Jose Arturo was born in Urireo GTO, Mexico on October 12, 1995 to Arturo Rivera and Josefina Puentes Rivera. He married Concepcion Gutierrez in Florida. Jose Arturo was employed by D & J Dairy. He was a member of La Iglesia de San Jose of Hereford, Texas. He loved to spent time with his family, and washing his car.

Jose Arturo was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Abelino Puentes.
