Jose Ramon Enriquez Lozano, 64, resident of Hereford, Texas passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Hereford, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at La Iglesia de San Jose Mision with Celebrant Arturo Mesa. Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be Friday, April 9 from 2-8 PM and rosary at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. A mask is required to attend the funeral service at the church.

Jose Ramon Enriquez Lozano was born on July 27, 1956 to Ramon Enriquez and Bertha Lozano in Centro Calles, Chihuahua, Mexico. He married his true love, Imelda Miramontes, in 1980 with whom he formed a happy marriage of 41 years. As a great family man, his adoration were his children and grandchildren with whom he loved to spend all his free time. Jose was a loving, generous man, who enjoyed helping various organizations for those most in need. From an early age, he began working in every way he could to help his parents, from shoe shiner to working the fields with his father Ramon, and then later the meat processing industries, to provide for his family. All throughout his life, he was a hardworking man, who could not be without having a project in mind, from carpentry to gardening. Humility was a great part of his nature since he was never a person to disrespect or speak poorly of others. Even at his later age, there was no endeavor he did not attempt for the well-being of his family, with a plan to instill a legacy of hard work and perseverance in his children and grandchildren. As an active member and minister of San Jose Catholic Church, he was a faithful servant of the Lord and loved praising God with his song.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Imelda Enriquez Miramontes of Hereford, TX., daughter, Norma I. Enriquez and her husband Alejandro Rojas of Hereford, TX., son, Jose A. Enriquez of Amarillo, TX., daughter, Imelda Enriquez and Jasmine Delgado Enriquez and her husband Jorge Lucas all of Hereford, TX., three brothers, Oscar Enriquez and his wife Ramona, Santos Enriquez and his wife Alma all of Liberal, KS., and Ignacio Enriquez and his wife Luz Herlinda Marquez of Chih., MX., three sisters, Dora Nancy Moreno and her husband John of Phoenix, AZ., Gloria Enriquez and her husband Jorge Chico and Martha Enriquez all of Chih., MX., five grandchildren, Alejandro I. Rojas, Jr., Aaron Rojas, Rey Rojas, Liam Lucas and Zara Lucas.

Jose will be joining his parents, a brother, Hector Enriquez and a sister, Maria Luisa Enriquez in heaven.

He will be dearly missed and loved deeply in our hearts forever.

Jose Ramon Enriquez nació el 27 de Julio del 1956 de padres Ramon Enriquez y Bertha Lozano en Centro Calles, Chihuahua, Mexico. Se casó con su verdadero amor, Imelda Miramontes, en 1980 con quien formó un matrimonio feliz de 41 años. Como un gran hombre de familia, su adoración eran sus hijos y nietos con quienes pasaba su tiempo libre. Jose era un hombre amoroso y generoso, ayudando a varias organizaciones para los más necesitados. Desde muy joven comenzó a trabajar de todos los modos posibles para ayudar a sus padres, desde bolero hasta trabajar en los campos con su padre Ramon, y luego en procesadoras de carne para sostener a su familia. Toda su vida, fue un hombre trabajador, quien no podía estar sin algún proyecto en mente, desde carpintería a jardinería. La humildad fue una gran parte de su naturaleza ya que nunca fue persona de faltar el respeto o hablar mal de los demás. Incluso a su edad, no había ningún trabajo que no intentara por el bienestar de su familia, con el plan de inculcar un legado de esfuerzo y perseverancia a sus hijos y nietos. Como miembro y ministro de la iglesia San José, fue un fiel servidor de nuestro Señor y amante de alabar a Dios con sus cantos.

Los que quedan para apreciar su memoria son su esposa, Imelda Enriquez Miramontes de Chih, MX., Hija, Norma I. Enriquez y su esposo Alejandro Rojas de Hereford, Tx., Hijo, Jose A. Enriquez de Amarillo Tx., Hijas, Imelda Enriquez y Jasmine Delgado Enriquez y su esposo Jorge Lucas todos de Hereford, Tx., tres hermanos, Oscar Enriquez y su esposa Ramona, Santos Enriquez y su esposa Alma de Liberal, KS., Ignacio Enriquez y su esposa Luz Herlinda de Chih., MX, tres hermanas, Dora Nancy Moreno y su esposo John Moreno de Mesa, AZ., Gloria Enriquez y su esposo Jorge Chico de Chih., MX, cinco nietos, Alejandro I. Rojas Jr., Aaron Rojas, Rey Rojas, Liam Lucas y Zara Lucas.

Jose se reunirá a sus padres, un hermano, Hector Enriquez, y una hermana, Maria Luisa Enriquez en el cielo.

Será profundamente extrañado y amado por siempre en nuestro corazones, hasta el cielo.
