Joe Martin Lozoya, 46, of Hereford, Texas passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM-8:00 PM at the funeral home. There are no services scheduled at this time.

Joe was born December 11, 1974 in El Paso, Texas to Joe Manuel and Mary Rosalie (Aguilera) Lozoya. Joe has been a resident of Hereford most of his life. He attended Hereford Schools and played football while in high school. Joe enjoyed working on cars, dancing and listening to music. His greatest pastime was being a jokster and doing anything that pertained to working with his hands. Joe loved his children and his family very much.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Desirey Hardy and her husband Demetrius of Amarillo, TX., Daniel Lozoya and his wife Sarina of Fritch, TX., Katherine Lozoya, Alejandro Lozoya both of King Fisher, OK., and Arianna Lozoya of Ft. Stockton, TX., three stepchildren, Brae'ja Hopkins, Robert Hopkins, and Winter Hopkins all of Ft. Stockton, TX.; his mother, Mary R. Lozoya of Hereford, TX., his companion, Eisha Galindo of Ft. Stockton, TX., a sister, Mary Baca and her husband Gilbert of Portales, N.M., 2 brothers, Chris Lozoya and his wife Virginia Fletcher and Johnny Lozoya all of Hereford, TX.; 2 granddaughters, Aaniyah Hardy and Kylie-Jade Lozoya and 2 grandsons on the way, a step granddaughter, Ryleigh Luna; mother's of his children, Melissa Coronado of Amarillo, TX., and Kristi Kauley of King Fisher, OK.

Joe is preceded in death by his father, Joe Manuel Lozoya, grandfather, Manuel Lozoya, a brother, Victor Lozoya, and his maternal grandparents, Javier, and Alice Aguilera.
