Jimmie "Grannie" Lee, 94, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Amarillo. Graveside service will be on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at West Park Cemetery in Hereford under the direction of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford. A Family and Friend visitation will be on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Jimmie was born on August 31, 1931, in Pampa, Texas to William Bryan and Lula Mae (Waddell) Swearengen. Jimmie married James Doyel Lee, they moved to Hereford in 1955 from Pampa. She moved to Amarillo after the passing of her husband James Doyel. Jimmie worked for Austin Distributing for 44 ½ years until her retirement at the age of 86.

Grannie was a talented seamstress and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cross stitch. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, shopping, and a good bargain. She loved jewelry, and visiting with her family and friends on the phone and in person. She was very thoughtful, always remembering dates, events, phone numbers, birthdays, and especially what everyone liked when shopping for gifts. Grannie loved her family and grandchildren and the fun she had teaching them how to play pool.  Grannie always reminded everyone she spoke to 'Love and Miss you and Hug and Kiss those babies for me'.

She is survived by her children, Pam Lee of Hereford, Texas, Tony Lee of Eastland, Texas, Mike Lee of Amarillo, Texas, Kendra Crouch of Tomball, Texas, and Debra Keese & husband James of Vega, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Mischa Keese, Doug Keese & wife Stephanie, Doyel Ferguson & wife Brianna, Corey Crouch & wife Sydney, Brandi Cowan & husband Shane, Heather Crouch, Tristan Lee, Jason Corlis, Cameron Crouch & wife Meagan, Megan Smith, and Chelsea Lee; 22 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Lula Swearengen, husband James Doyel Lee, daughter Nicki Jo Lee, 3 sisters, Mickey Miller, Doris Merideth, and Josephine Abersold, and granddaughter Ashley Greene.
