Jane Packard, 93, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in Hereford, Texas. Celebration of Life Service will be on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Central Church of Christ in Hereford, Texas. Graveside Services will be at 2:30 P.M. at Plainview Cemetery in Plainview, Texas under the direction of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford. A Family and Friend visitation will be on Monday, November 4, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Jane was born on November 2, 1930, in New Castle, Texas, the daughter of Roy and Polly (Wages) Clark. She married Ralph A. Packard on November 1, 1947, in Springlake, Texas. Jane and Ralph moved to Hereford in 1954 and were members of the Central Church of Christ. Jane was a talented quilter and owned Jane's Quilting in Hereford; she made quilts for many people within Texas. Jane enjoyed shopping, looking her best, visiting with friends and riding motorcycles with her husband Ralph. They traveled many places within the U.S. together.

She is survived by her three daughters Charlotte Wimberley of Amarillo, Texas, Cecilia Watson of Hereford, Texas, Cherri Kerr and husband Gordon of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren, Allen Baum of Fishersville, Kentucky, Charla Henderson of Amarillo, Texas, Royce Wimberley of Amarillo, Texas, Ziad Hammad of Amarillo, Texas, and Sammy Hammad of Denver, Colorado; six great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Polly Clark, husband Ralph Packard, son-in-law Terry Watson, two brothers, and two sisters.
