Isidro Ruiz, 63, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in Hereford, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church with Celebrant Ramon Molina officiating. Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be on Monday and Tuesday, April 3 ^rd and 4 ^th , from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM with rosary on Tuesday at 6:00 PM.

Isidro was born on September 2, 1959, in Municipio Gomes Farias, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Ramiro Ruiz Chacon and Irma Ortiz Ruiz. Isidro has been a resident of Hereford, Texas, since 1978. He married the love of his life Reyes Figueroha, on March 22, 1982. Isidro married Reyes, knowing she had 5 children that were not his, and he could have easily walked away but they all eventually became one happy family. He loved them like his own and they loved him like their father. He instilled in his children to work hard and never depend on anyone to help you, he was their number one supporter, protector, go to person, advisor, and rock that they loved deeply. His children call him, "Men of all Men" and the "hardest working man they have ever known". He was currently working for Barrett and Crofoot West and had been there for 38 years cowboying. Isidro loved cattle, cowboying, wrestling, Broncos football team, his ranch, but most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren, he never allowed anyone to spank them when he was around. He never knew how to say "no" and had a very big heart. He loved his brothers, he was always calling to check in on them, and they would have long conversations on the phone quite often. Isidro was a true blessing and a wonderful example of a "great man", to his family.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Reyes Ruiz, his children, Rene Ruiz, Joe Riojas and his wife Sabrina, Severiano Riojas, Oralia Riojas and her companion Tony Ortega all of Hereford, Texas, and Maria Riojas of Port Arthur, Texas; his father, Ramiro Ruiz Chacon of Mexico; his siblings, Ramiro Ruiz and his wife Lordes, Fernando Ruiz and his wife Hilda, Oscar Ruiz and Minerva Ruiz all of Hereford, Texas, and Nario Ruiz and his wife Patricia of Mexico; 24 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Isidro is preceded in death by his mother, a son, Hector Figueroa, and 2 brothers, Mario Ruiz and Rigo Palamino.

Isidro se casó con Reyes, sabiendo que ella tenía 5 hijos que no eran suyos, y él podría haberse alejado fácilmente, pero todos eventualmente se convirtieron en una familia feliz. Él los amaba como a los suyos y ellos lo amaban como a su padre. Él inculcó en sus hijos a trabajar duro y nunca depender de nadie para ayudarte, él era su apoyo número uno, protector, ir a la persona, consejero y roca que amaban profundamente. Sus hijos lo llaman "Hombres de todos los hombres" y el "hombre más trabajador que jamás hayan conocido". Actualmente trabajaba para Barrett y Crofoot West y había estado allí durante 38 años como vaquero. Isidro amaba el ganado, los vaqueros, la lucha libre, el equipo de fútbol americano de los Broncos, su rancho, pero sobre todo amaba a su familia, especialmente a sus nietos, nunca permitió que nadie los azotara cuando estaba cerca. Nunca supo decir "no" y tenía un corazón muy grande. Amaba a sus hermanos, siempre llamaba para ver cómo estaban, y tenían largas conversaciones por teléfono con bastante frecuencia. Isidro fue una verdadera bendición y un maravilloso ejemplo de un "gran hombre", para su familia.

Los que quedan para atesorar sus recuerdos son su esposa, Reyes Ruiz, sus hijos, René Ruiz, Joe Riojas y su esposa Sabrina, Severiano Riojas, Oralia Riojas y su compañero Tony Ortega todos de Hereford, Texas, y María Riojas de Port Arthur, Texas; su padre, Ramiro Ruiz Chacón de México; sus hermanos, Ramiro Ruiz y su esposa Lordes, Fernando Ruiz y su esposa Hilda, Oscar Ruiz y Minerva Ruiz todos de Hereford, Texas, y Nario Ruiz y su esposa Patricia de México; 24 nietos y 25 bisnietos.

Isidro es precedido en la muerte por su madre, un hijo, Héctor Figueroa, y 2 hermanos, Mario Ruiz y Rigo Palamino.
