Helen Hernandez, 62, of Hereford, Texas, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Trinity Fellowship Church 401 West Park Avenue Hereford, Texas, with Reverend Wayne Kniffen, Pastor. Burial will follow in Restlawn Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Mendez & Mullins Family Funeral Home in Hereford, Texas.

Helen was born on February 7, 1955 in Guymon, Oklahoma to Adolph and Frances (Pacheco) Padilla. She married Johnny Hernandez on March 13, 1987 in Hereford. Helen had been employed by Sun Country Convenience Stores for over 15 years. She enjoyed selling Mary Kay Cosmetics, and she loved spending time with her husband, Johnny, and her family and friends. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Frances Padilla, 3 brothers: Jose Padilla, Ernest Padilla, and Ray Padilla, and a sister: Julia Rubio.
