Helen "Elena" Dominguez Bolinger, 61, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Amarillo, surrounded by her loving family.

Elena was born on June 7, 1964, in Hereford, Texas, to Eduardo Dominguez and Maria Ramirez. She married Everett Bolinger on May 9, 1998.

Elena loved going to the mountains, enjoying the fresh air, the creek, fishing, and spending time with family. She loved playing slot machines, baking, cooking, and getting mad at the Dallas Cowboys. Elena enjoyed sports, especially watching her grandchildren at their games. She was known to many of her family's friends and coworkers as the burrito and tamale lady; sharing food and feeding others was her love language. Elena had a beautiful voice; she was a simple woman whose most prized possession was her family. In keeping with her generous spirit, Helen chose to give the gift of life through organ donation.

Those left to cherish her memories are her mother, Maria Ramirez; husband Everett Bolinger; children, Vyanca Johnson (Anthony), Vynessa Jenkins (Jordan), Jesse Rangel (Tiffany), Analissa Fernandez (Julian), and Dustin Bolinger (Danielle); twenty-three grandchildren; siblings, Johnny Moreno, Ruben Moreno (Dede), Susie Mendoza (Fred), Edward Dominguez (Criselda), Javier (Jessica), Claudia (Luis), Joaquin, Rodolfo (Gracie), Lilia (Lauro), and Luis (Candace); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father Eduardo (Lalo) Dominguez and brother Hector Dominguez.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home in Hereford.
