Guadalupe "Lupe" Reyes, 47, of Hereford, Texas passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 in Hereford, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 11:00 AM at La Iglesia de San Jose Catholic Church at the hall with Celebrant Ramon Molina, burial will follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will begin Monday, December 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM -8:00 PM at the funeral home. Rosary will be on Monday at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Lupe was born January 10, 1972 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Guadalupe, Sr. and Socorro (Molina) Reyes. Lupe has been a resident of Hereford for approximately 6 years. He and his wife, Maria lived in Friona, Texas for 18 years prior to moving to Hereford. Lupe graduated from Friona High School in 1990. He married Maria Laura Gallardo on August 10, 1996 in Hereford, Texas. He worked for Cargill Meat Solutions for 7 years and while in Hereford he has been a truck driver hauling agriculture products. Lupe enjoyed watching football, dancing, having cookouts with family and friends. He liked semi-trucks and driving them, but his greatest love was his family, hanging out with his daughter and being the babysitter for his granddaughter; he loved his wife and his twin boys and always worried so much about his children. Lupe was a member of La Iglesia de San Jose Catholic Church of Hereford.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Maria Laura Reyes, his daughter Lynette Reyes and her husband Brandon Nunez, his twin sons David and Daniel Reyes, one granddaughter Aubree Nunez all of Hereford, TX; his mother Socorro Molina, a sister Rosa Roman and her husband Jose, two brothers Francisco Reyes and Oscar Reyes and his wife Lourdes all of Friona, TX; his in-laws Geronimo and Ninfa Gallardo of Hereford, TX; his sisters in-law Norma Ramirez and her husband Jose of Midland, TX, Maria Madrigal and her husband Jacob of Amarillo, TX, Lidia Garcia and her husband Alberto, Jessica and Yesenia Gallardo all of Hereford, TX; his brother in-law Roberto Gallardo and his wife Magda of Midland, TX; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lupe is preceded in death by his father Guadalupe Reyes, Sr.
