Glenn Ronald Stueve, 69, died in hospice care in Lubbock, TX at 10:23am on Saturday, July 25th after 4 long years of surgeries and treatment for a Meningioma brain tumor. He joined beloved family members who preceded him in death: wife Arlene Stueve, father Erwin Stueve, mother Norma Stueve, and sister Joyce Anker. He has resided in Hereford since 2003.

Glenn was born to Erwin and Norma on August 28th, 1956 in Corona, CA. He was raised alongside his siblings - Joyce, Jerry, and Nancy - on a multi-generational dairy farm which influenced his lifelong passions for family and dairy work. After graduating from Chino High School, Glenn lived and worked on the dairy, eventually becoming the proud owner of Stueve Gold Dairy in Chino, CA and Hereford, TX.

Glenn married Arlene Van Leeuwen on a rainy spring day on March 18, 1982. Their first child, Travis, was born in November 1984. He was followed by Lacey in August 1987, Josh in May 1990, and Cody in June 1992. Family life revolved around feeding cows morning and night, kid activities, spoiled pets, and, of course, dairy products.

Glenn is survived by his children and their spouses: Travis and Melissa of Cedar Falls, IA, Lacey and Branden of Inez, TX, Josh and Marcy of Lubbock, TX, Cody and Grace of Louisville, KY. He leaves behind 9 grandchildren - Makenzie, Teagan, Brayden, Mabel, Finley, Arie, Robin, Clark, and Josephine. Glenn will be missed by his brother, Jerry, sister, Nancy, and many family members and friends.

In his later years, Glenn found new joy in being "Papa." He called his grandchildren daily and flew more in the last 10 years than the rest of his life to see his grandchildren. Nothing brought him more joy than being in the company of his family.

Glenn also loved his 1972 Corvette (which he bought when he was 16 and restored in recent years), driving his pickup 'just to look around,' mowing his lawn, bowling, and taking his boat out on the lake to water ski.

We offer a word of thanks to the many doctors, nurses, caregivers and all who cared for Glenn.
