German "Peppers" Robles, 79, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, in Hereford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Ramon Molina officiating. Arrangements and Cremation Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Viewing and Visitation will be on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M.

German was born on May 28, 1944, in Morelos, Zacatecas, Mexico to Jesus Robles Pinedo and Joaquina Hernandez Venitez. German has been a resident of Hereford since 1985. He met and married Maria Hernandez Robles, they have been together for 34 years. German worked for Merrick until his retirement. He enjoyed watching television, especially novelas, taking care of his ranch animals, pigs and chickens, and eating sweets. German loved his grandchildren very much; he also loved to pick on and joke around with his wife Maria. He was a stern and blunt man but hospitable, always making sure his family was taken care of.

Those left to cherish his memories are wife Maria Hernandez Robles of Hereford; children, Maggie Hernandez of Amarillo, Maria Hernandez and her wife Nancy of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren John Paul Ybarra II, Brooklyn Paige Ybarra, Spencer Rose Martinez, and Damariss Martinez; children Rojelio Robles Garcia, Jose Luis Robles Garcia, Andres Robles Garcia, Ilda Robles Garcia, Jose Alfredo Robles Garcia, Leticia Robles Garcia, and Sandra Robles Garcia; siblings, Maria Guadalupe Robles Hernandez, Antonia Robles Hernandez, Francisco Robles Hernandez, Angel Robles Hernandez, Maria del Carmen Robles Hernandez, Jesus Robles Hernandez, Juan Pedro Robles Hernandez, Rosa Maria Robles Hernandez, Silvia Robles Hernandez, and Rafael Robles Hernandez; and many more loving family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Antonia Robles Hernandez, Francisco Robles Hernandez, Angel Robles Hernandez, Maria del Socorro Robles Hernandez, and Juan Pedro Robles Hernandez.
