Gary M. Shelton, formerly of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, in Odessa, Texas. A Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Gary was born in Hereford, Texas, on November 7, 1945, to Steve and Winnie (Rickman) Shelton. Gary attended school in Hereford, Texas; he later joined the United States Navy, after naval tour in Vietnam he worked in road construction in California until his retirement. He was very active in target archery and hunting.

Those left to cherish his memory are a daughter Jennifer Shelton; his sister Brenda Thomas and her husband Bud of Hereford, Texas, a sister-in-law Donna Shelton of Farmington, N.M.; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents Steve and Winnie (Rickman) Shelton, two sons Steven and Michael Shelton and his brother Jack Shelton.
