Alfredo "Freddie" Rincon, 71, of Wildorado, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, in Amarillo surrounded by his loving family.

Freddie was born on June 30, 1954, in Lubbock, Texas to Santos and Catarina (Elizardo) Rincon. He met Linda Cavazos at work in Raymondville, Texas, in 1972, and after a week of dating, they married. It was love at first sight.

Freddie dedicated over thirty years to Cutrell Trucking as a truck driver. He was an accomplished gardener, maintaining an immaculate yard with precisely mowed lines and beautiful rose bushes, plants, and trees. Freddie valued time spent with his grandchildren, often bringing them lunch and attending his granddaughter's cheer events. He loved a clean pickup, listening to country and Tejano music, mechanical work, playing the lottery, and playing dominos and poker with his children. He valued spending quality time with his wife, Linda, sipping their morning coffee, watching the Cowboys, viewing "The Price Is Right," and going to Casinos.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Linda Rincon of Wildroado, Texas; children, Alfredo Rincon, Jr., Vickie Rincon, Jerry Rincon and his wife Elaine, and Jonathan Rincon and his wife Kasey all of Wildorado, Texas; grandchildren, Alfredo Rincon III, Eddie Rincon and his wife Destiny, Jeremiah Rincon, Brittany Rincon, Ricky Rincon, Sabian Escobedo and his wife Emily, Mystic Rincon, Truth Rincon; great grandchildren, Kalista, Jazlee, Keylli, Yarlie, Maddie, Espin, Daniel, Bryslen, Alani, Malachi, Kashton, Kaiden, and Zeal Sol; siblings, Emilio Rincon and his wife Dora of Littlefield, Texas, David Rincon and his wife Rosalinda of Hereford, Texas, Santos Rincon, Jr. and his wife Martha of Hereford, Texas, Mary Sanchez and her husband Manuel, Nicky Ramos of Lubbock, Texas, Joann Rincon of Amarillo, Texas, Diana Garcia and her husband Raul of Dallas, Texas, Yolanda Casias and her husband Gabriel of Amarillo, Texas, Sylvia Mata and her husband Jessie of Borger, Texas, Delia Vasquez of Lyford, Texas, and Susan Nava and her husband Antonio of Seattle, Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Catarina Rincon, brothers Johnny and Richard Rincon, nephews Santos Rincon III and Emilio Rincon, Jr., and niece Martina Rincon.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home in Hereford.

Viewing and Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements and Cremation Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.
