Frank Edward Scott, 77, a lifelong resident of Hereford, Texas, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. There are no scheduled services at this time.

Frank was born June 26, 1945, in Hereford, Texas, to Jesse C. and Carmie (Walker) Scott. Frank has been a lifelong resident of Hereford, Texas. He married the love of his life, Margaret Applegate on January 14, 1966, in Hereford, Texas. Frank worked as a Union Boiler Maker and a High-Pressure Welder for 32 years, retiring in 2004. He enjoyed working in his barn, gardening, fishing, and watching western movies. Frank was a simple man who will be missed by many.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Margaret Scott of Hereford, Texas; his two children Rebecca Day and Jesse Scott and his wife Elena all of Hereford, Texas; eight grandchildren Ruben Day, Sunny Day, Billy Trent Day, Robin Wheat, Dustin Scott, Margaret I. Smally, Jesse E. Scott, Jr., and Isball Scott; thirteen grandchildren; two brothers Don Scott and his wife Pat of Hereford, Texas, and Terry Scott of Amarillo, Texas; two sisters Phyllis Sims and her husband Dennis of Panhandle, Texas, and Kathy Guinn and her husband Jimmy of Amarillo, Texas.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Billie Young and Sally Knox.
