Eulalia "Lala" Ramirez, 86, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in Hereford, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Nestor Lara officiating, burial to follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford. A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM with Rosary to begin at 6:00 PM.  Due to the COVID- 19 virus, please wear a mask provided by you for the visitation, Rosary, and Mass. Your health and safety matter to us.

Eulalia was born on February 12, 1934 to Manuel and Aurora (Galvan) Resendez in La Feria, Texas.  She met and fell in love with Jose E. Ramirez and they were married on July 22, 1954. Eulalia was the matriarch of her family, and she loved them dearly.  She made the best tortillas and bean burritos, especially for her grandkids. She loved to play "Loteria", watch novellas, color in coloring books, and put puzzles together. Eulalia also enjoyed crocheting and embroidery. She loved family gatherings especially celebrating her birthday and holidays.

Those left to cherish her memories are six daughters Josie Nava and her husband Willie, Rebecca Arredondo and her husband Carlos, Oralia Nava and her husband Juan, Juanita Ramirez, Gloria Figueiras and her husband Mario, and Maria Martinez and her husband Vincente; two sons Richard Ramirez and Daniel Ramirez and his wife Barbara all of Hereford, TX; thirty-eight grandkids; seventy-four great grandkids; six great-great grandkids; sister Juana Pedraza of Harlingen, TX; and brother Pedro Ordoñes of La Feria, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband, a son Ruben Ramirez, great granddaughter Jasmine Dominguez, and great grandson Aaron Martinez.
