Enedina F. Anima, 84, of Hereford, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2021. Cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Enedina was born on July 2, 1936 to Jose and Ignacia (Hidalgo) Fierro in Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico. She married Lorenzo V. Anima on July 9, 1971 in Clovis, NM. She has been a resident of Hereford since 1975. She worked as a homemaker and took great pride in raising her family. She was a great cook and was famous for her homemade corn and flour tortillas, tamales, and cinnamon rolls. She enjoyed being outside and loved to draw. Enedina was a praying, godly woman and taught her children how to pray.  She shared her faith with many people and brought them to know the Lord. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children Sara Arredondo and husband Carlos of Hereford, TX, Santiago Anima and his wife Delia of Hereford, TX, Jose Lorenzo Anima and his wife Sofia of Spearman, TX, Alfredo Anima and his wife Becky of Spearman, TX, Diana Covarrubia of Levelland, TX, and Margaret Moya and her husband Richard of Canyon, TX; seventeen grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lorenzo, granddaughter Leticia Herrera, and sister Carmen Fierro.
