Elizabeth "Liz" Claudio, 36, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at San Jose Catholic Church with Celebrant Ramon Molina officiating. Burial to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 1:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home with a rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M.

Liz was born on December 23, 1985, in Hereford, Texas to Rafael and Isabel (Martinez) Claudio. She was a 2004 Hereford High School Graduate. Liz attended Amarillo College where she received her associates degree in American Sign Language. She worked many years as a supervisor at Walmart and recently as an ER clerk at Hereford Regional Medical Center. Liz loved to play softball, was a huge San Francisco 49ers fan, and loved to bake; her snickers cake and better then sex cake were the very best. She was a jokester, always telling jokes and her smile and laugh were contagious. Liz was very spirited and a good-hearted person.  Everything she did was for and about her kids, she loved them dearly and enjoyed doing crafts for them, especially for Halloween and Valentine's Day. Liz was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memories are her parents, Rafael and Isabel Claudio of Hereford, Texas; sons Kayden Salazar, Cain Balderaz, and L J Balderaz all of Hereford, Texas; a daughter, Raelynn Claudio of Hereford, Texas; siblings, Ralph Claudio and wife Mindy of Hereford, Texas, Monica Claudio and husband Gabriel Casias of Amarillo, Texas, Lori Claudio of Hereford, Texas, Jessica Claudio and husband Jorge Guzman of Hereford, Texas; and Alyssa Claudio of Hereford, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Refugio and Manuela Claudio and Natividad and Anita Martinez.
