Eliazar "Chuck" Garcia, 52, a lifelong resident of Hereford, Texas passed away, Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in Amarillo, Texas. Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be Monday, December 21, 2020 at Victory Family Worship Center at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lorenzo Martinez officiating, burial to follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the funeral home from 3:00 PM -8:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM with Ken Varner officiating. A face mask is required at the church and the funeral home. Your safety and health matter to us.

Chuck was born August 30, 1968 in Dimmitt, Texas to Adolfo and Amelia (Garcia) Garcia. Chuck was raised and has been a lifelong resident of Hereford. He attended and graduated from Hereford High School in 1987. He married the love of his life Adela Valadez on December 19, 1997. Chuck has been employed by Merrick Pet Care for 21 years. He attended Victory Family Worship Center. Chuck enjoyed playing golf and in his earlier years liked playing tennis and was a great tennis player. He loved watching his son, Sebastian, play basketball; he enjoyed listening to music but most of all his love was his family. He loved his wife and his children and enjoyed spending family time. Chuck was a simple and hardworking man. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Adela Garcia of Hereford, son, Kirk Garcia of Hereford, son, Randy Garcia of San Marcos, daughter, Jordan Carrasco and her husband Fernando, son, Sebastian Garcia, daughter, Miami Rayan Garcia and daughter, Legacy Storm Garcia all of Hereford; two brothers, Adolfo Garcia and his wife Krista and their two children of San Antonio and Daniel Garcia and his wife Vicky and their three children of Hereford; seven grandchildren Jeremiah Garcia, Gabriella Garcia, Kirk Eliazar Garcia, Kobe Garcia, Fernando Carrasco, Noah Carrasco and Aaron Carrasco.

Chuck is joining his parents and a brother Gomer Garcia in heaven.
