Elaine Marie (Rodgers) Webster, 72, of Hereford, Texas passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 22, 2023. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel in Hereford with family friend, Richard Williams officiating. Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery in Hereford under the direction of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 25, 2023, from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Elaine was born on January 26, 1951, to James and Thelma (Belmear) Rodgers in Oakland, California. Growing up she had the privilege of attending schools in Guam, Japan, and California. She graduated from Estancia High School in Estancia, New Mexico in 1968. Elaine received her LVN from Amarillo College and made a career in nursing, as she felt it was her calling. She worked at several nursing facilities and hospitals.

On June 21, 1985, she married the love of her life Mike Webster and together for twenty-one years they were best friends, partners, and soul mates.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, James and Thelma Rodgers, her husband Mike Webster, sister Darla, uncle Melvin, and niece Cheryl.

She leaves behind her son, Chris Northcutt and his wife Julie of Hobbs, New Mexico; her daughter, Jody Walker and her husband Floyd of Dalhart, Texas; five grandchildren, Clay Northcutt, Morgan Northcutt, Cole Northcutt, Tessa Wells, and Bailey Albrecht and her husband Xavien; one great-grandson, Christopher Herdina; one cousin, three nieces, two nephews, and one brother.
