Eduardo "Eddie" Pesina, Sr., 63, a lifelong resident of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in Hereford. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Celebrant Grant Spinhirne officiating. Burial to follow at St. Anthonys Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be on Monday, March 11, 2024, from 1:00 – 8:00 PM and rosary will be at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Eddie was born March 4, 1961, in Hereford, Texas, to Daniel and Delfina (DeLosSantos) Pesina. He was born and raised in Hereford and graduated from Hereford High School in 1980. Eddie earned his associate degree in automotive collision from TSTI (Texas State Technical Institute). Eddie married his childhood friend, next door neighbor, love of his life and best friend, Amelia Rodriguez, on December 2, 1982, in Hereford, Texas. Together they had a beautiful life and a wonderful family. Eddie enjoyed restoring old classic cars and received many awards when he entered them in car shows, he especially loved the "chevelle". Eddie was a hard-worker and was employed at County Services for 25 years; he was an automotive painter and fabricator. Eddie enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, he was a knife maker, grill master, a gardener with an awesome "green thumb', always having a vegetable garden full of marvelous fruits and vegetables. Eddie had many hobbies, but his greatest love and achievement in his life were his children, and his "Texas T's" (tornadoes) his grandchildren; he was a very honorable and devoted husband, son, father, and grandfather. Eddie and Amelia have been members of St. Anthonys Catholic Church for many years. Eddie's presence, smile, and his many attributes will be missed by many.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Amelia Pesina of Hereford, Texas; his children, Danielle White and her husband Justin of Amarillo, Texas, Amber Pesina of Hereford, Texas, and Eddie Pesina, Jr., and his wife Sasha, of Austin, Texas; his 6 grandchildren, Joesiah, Elijah, Nehemiah and Jeremiah Almaraz, Reid and Andrew White; his mother, Delfina Pesina of Hereford, Texas; his siblings, Josie Guerrero and her husband Martin of Austin, Texas, Gloria Alvarado and her husband Lupe of San Antonio, Texas, Yolanda Pesina, Ray Pesina and Dan Pesina and his wife Nora all of Hereford, Texas, Jessie Pesina and Kevin Prather both of Austin, Texas.

Eddie is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Pesina, a son, Francisco Jesus Pesina, and a sister-in-law, Hope Pesina.
