Eduardo "Lalo" Dominguez, 83, long time resident of Hereford, Texas passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 in Amarillo, TX. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 4, 2020 at San Jose Catholic Church at 2:00 PM with Father Ramon Molina officiating; burial to follow at West Park Cemetery in Hereford. Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Due to the COVID – 19 virus everyone attending mass will need to wear a mask provided by you and there will be no public restrooms available per the church. Viewing will begin on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM and rosary will be at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Due to the COVID – 19 virus only 50 people will be allowed in the funeral home at any one given time; everyone attending the rosary will need to wear a mask provided by you. Your health and safety matter to us.

Eduardo "Lalo" Dominguez was born on October 13, 1936 in Jimenez Chihuahua, Mexico to Pedro and Librada (Soto) Acosta. In his younger days, Eduardo played baseball. He married Felicitas Rodriguez on August 11, 1973 and was a farmer the majority of his life. Eduardo was a member of San Jose Catholic Church. He loved boxing and baseball, enjoyed singing and sitting down for a good meal.  His favorite baseball team was the Cincinnati Reds. Eduardo was a jokester.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Felis of 47 years; children: Eduardo Dominguez, Jr and wife Cris, Helen Bolinger and husband Lee all of  Hereford, TX, Javier Dominguez and wife Jessica Rojas of Lubbock, TX, Claudia Ruiz and husband Luis of Amarillo, TX, Joaquin Dominguez, Rodolfo Dominguez and wife Gracie Cano all of  Hereford, TX, Lilia Montoya and husband Lauro of Amarillo, TX and Luis Dominguez and wife Candace of Lubbock, TX; brothers: Pedro Dominguez and wife Concha, Juan Dominguez and wife Leticia all of Hereford, TX; sister Margarita Morales of El Paso, TX; 24 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.

Eduardo will join his Parents, son Hector Dominguez, and brother Rito Dominguez.
