Don Clark, 93, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Hereford with Reverend Don McDonald officiating. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Burial of cremains to take place at a later date in Bentley, Kansas.

Don was born on April 12, 1928, in Clearwater, Kansas to Orie and Maggie (Strubble) Clark. He married Carolyn on August 10, 1961, in Wichita, Kansas and they moved to Hereford in 1964. Don worked until retirement at Holly Sugar. He was a dedicated member of the First Presbyterian Church and was involved in all the church activities. He enjoyed restoring and building furniture and working in his shop.

Those left to cherish his memories are two sons, Larry Champ and wife Patty of Flagler, CO and Terry Champ and wife Wanda of Magnolia, TX; three grandchildren, Randy Champ, Whitney Champ, and Christi Owens; eight great grandchildren, Taylur, Lexi, Tori, Alex, and Sean Champ and Chase, Maya, and Grayson Hedlund; three great-great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Carolyn Clark, stepdaughter Glendan Hutcherson, grandson Ryan Champ, one sister, and six brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church, 610 Lee Avenue, Hereford, Texas 79045.
