Domingo Medrano Sias, 85, of Hereford, Texas passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 in Hereford, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM at La Iglesia de San Jose Catholic Church at the Hall with Celebrant Nestor Lara, burial will follow at West Park Cemetery in Hereford. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Rosary will be Thursday at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Domingo was born August 12, 1934 in La Joya Matehuala S.L.P., Mexico to Julio and Priciliana (Sias) Medrano. Domingo has been a resident of Hereford, Texas since 1957. He married Irene Gomez on February 9, 1959 in Mexico. Domingo farmed for W.H. Andrews from 1957-1973, he then farmed for Jay Boston from 1973-1981; retiring from Swift having worked from 1981-1985. Domingo was a member of La Iglesia de San Jose Catholic Church of Hereford, Texas and the Hereford Charros. Domingo enjoyed all kinds of livestock, he enjoyed socializing with people around town, never meeting a stranger and literally giving the shirt off his back for anyone in need. Domingo had a joke for everything and if he didn't have one prepared, he would quickly make one up. He loved his yearly birthday party, his children calling it the "Domingo Fest", but his greatest love was his family, his grandchildren and his extended family, who truly love him just as much.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Irene Medrano of Hereford, Texas, his children Frank Medrano and his wife Greta of McKinney, Texas, Alma Delia Norwood and her husband Douglas of Friona, Texas, Dora Alicia Mendiola and her husband Manuel, Jr. of McKinney, Texas, Fernando Medrano and his wife Halli of Gainesville, Texas. Vicente "Vince" Medrano and his wife Joy of Davie, FL. and Irene Kristi Medrano and her husband Andy Harmon of McKinney, Texas, eighteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Four sisters Atanacia Silva, Pilar Mendoza both of Chicago, Simona Medrano and her husband Maurice Surface of Houston and Teresa Estrada and her husband Francisco of Matehuala, Mexico and a brother Humberto Medrano and his wife Rose of Amarillo, Texas.

Domingo is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Begnino and Julio Medrano and three sisters Elpidia Coronado, Angela Estrada and Guadalupe Morelos.
