Dennis T. Vigil, 59, of Hereford passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be Friday, January 11, 2019 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Alvarado officiating, burial to follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Dennis was born September 19, 1959 in Hereford to Manuel and Ida (Estrada) Vigil. Dennis has been a lifelong resident of Hereford. He worked as a forklift operator for Mendoza Trucking for several years. Dennis enjoyed riding his bike, listening to music, especially Christian music; he loved animals; fishing with his family, reading, but he especially loved reading his bible.

Those left to cherish Dennis' memories are his siblings Larry Vigil and his wife Patricia of Amarillo; Loretta Aleman of Dimmitt; Dinah DeLeon and her husband Rudy and Deanette Betzen and her husband Francis all of Amarillo; four sons Timothy, Casey, Isiah and Terry Valdez all of Hereford.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents.
