Debbie Morgan, 65, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, in Richardson, Texas. Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 10:00 AM at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Varner officiating. Burial to follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Condolences and visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Debbie was born August 6, 1956, in Olton, Texas to Billy and Margaret Ann (Sargent) Henderson. She has been a lifelong resident of Hereford. She married Harold Morgan on December 18, 1974, in Clovis, N.M.; she and her husband owned and operated D&H Grocery Store, she later worked for Tice Grocery. Debbie later was employed by Walcott School, West Texas A&M University, Dimmitt ISD, and Adrian ISD as a dietician. She retired from Adrian ISD after an injury in August of 2018. Debbie's passion was reading and fishing. She loved reading romance novels and sometimes a good ole western, but her family never saw her without a book or her kindle in her hands and a Sonic unsweet tea. She could read 30-40 books in a week's time. Debbie also loved baking, her family and friends will miss her banana cake, banana nut bread, enchiladas, and her famous hot sauce. Debbie treasured her moments with her family, especially time spent with her daughter and those wonderful "Girl Trips" she would take with her sisters, her mother, when she was living, her daughter and nieces. Debbie will be missed by many.

Those left to cherish Debbie's memories are her husband, Harold Morgan of Hereford, Texas, her children, Meredith Morgan-Kerbo and her wife Michelle Kerbo of Garland, Texas, Cody Wayne Morgan and his wife Breeana Penny of Amarillo, Texas; a sister, Karen Hoelscher and her husband Jerry of Wylie, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Brittany Hernandez and her husband Anthony of Ft. Worth, Texas, Chrystal Kerbo and her husband Edward Richardson of Deming, N.M., Katie Kerbo and Hanna Henderson both of Garland, Texas, Iztali, Lincoln and Chance Morgan all of Amarillo, Texas, April Howell and her husband Thomas and Robyn Cordova and her husband Oscar all of Dimmitt, Texas, and Cheyenne Heggestad of Hereford, Texas; 11 great grandchildren, Braeson, Ian and Abbott Hernandez all of Ft. Worth, Texas, Isa'Bella and Genesis Kerbo of Deming, N.M., Shelbee, Jarred and Raygan Howell all of Dimmitt, Texas, Nathaniel, Hailey and Jerri Barnes all of Hereford, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

Debbie will be joining her grandparents, her parents, a stepson, Jerry Heggestad, her siblings, Jimmy Henderson, Janie Ward, Marshall Henderson and John Henderson, and her in-laws, Arnold, and Fern Morgan.
