Debbie Fetsch, 62, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in Hereford.

Debbie was born at the Air Force base in Amarillo, Texas, to Claudene Pruitt Cooper and Robert Mankins. She graduated from Hereford High School in May 1982. On July 16, 1983, Debbie married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Deacon Ronnie Fetsch. Together, they built a family and were blessed with two sons, whom they raised in the stock show industry for 20 years.

Debbie worked for 25 years at the Department of Public Safety’s driver’s license offices in Hereford and Friona, following earlier work in medical offices and day care.

Debbie loved reading and especially treasured time with family and friends. She was devoted to activities at St. Anthony’s Church and School and within the Amarillo Catholic Diocese.

Debbie is survived by her spouse, Deacon Ronnie Fetsch of Hereford; her sons, Josh Fetsch and Kyle Fetsch and his wife, Hayden, both of Amarillo, Texas; her three grandsons, Jaxon, Jaten, and Silas Fetsch; her mother, Claudine Cooper of Texhoma, Oklahoma; her brother, Danny Mankins (Joyce Harkins); her stepsister, Bridget Cudd (Duane) of Amarillo, Texas; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

She is preceded in death by her father Robert Mankins, father and mother-in-law Felix and Wilhemine Fetsch, and brother-in-law Lewis Fetsch.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Tony Neusch as celebrant. Burial of Cremains will follow at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Hereford under the direction and care of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.

The Rosary/Vigil Service will be on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 6:30 PM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Hereford.

The family suggests sending an ivy or mother-in-law’s tongue plant to be donated to the church in Debbie’s memory. Alternatively, monetary donations may be made to help the family plant trees on the school grounds in her honor or to the St. Anthony’s school endowment fund.
