David D. Ramirez, 47, of Hereford, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, July 1, 2023, in Hereford, Texas. Funeral services will be held at San Jose Catholic Church on Friday, July 7, 2023., at 2:00pm burial to follow at West Park Cemetery in Hereford, Texas with Father Ramon Molina officiating. Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023., from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home with rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M.

David D. Ramirez was born on June 27, 1976, in Hereford, Texas to Benigno Ramirez and Aurora De La Cerda. David was a lifelong resident of Hereford. David enjoyed bull hauling, cooking out, playing horseshoes, playing baseball, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a proud marine, a jokester, and had a famous bark. He was an awesome father and Tio David and he loved to watch his children play sports.

David is preceded in death by his mother, Aurora Ramirez, his grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Lexiss Den'e Ramirez and her companion Passion Unique Arellano of Alamogordo, New Mexico; his son Angel Ray Ramirez of Hereford, Texas; his daughter, Saraih Ramirez of Lincoln, California; his son, David "DJ" Ramirez, Jr. and his girlfriend Rylee Susan Kirk of Hereford, Texas; his son, Levi Ramirez of Alamogordo, New Mexico; his grandchildren, Arralynn Rae Ramirez, Gregory JoRay Ramirez all of Hereford, Texas; his special companion, Marina Luna of Canyon, Texas.; children, Hailey, Valerie, Miley, Abby all of Canyon, Texas; his father, Benigno Ramirez of Hereford, Texas; his siblings, Benny Ramirez of Bridgeport, Texas; his sister, Christina Ramirez of Alamogordo, New Mexico; his nieces, Elena and Jeanette Varela of Clovis, New Mexico; Emalee Ramirez of Alamogordo, New Mexico; great nieces, J'lyn San Miguel of Clovis, New Mexico., Micalayah Orosco of Alamogordo, New Mexico; his great nephews, Ezekiel Lopez of Clovis, New Mexico., Emiliano "Cisco" Ramirez of Alamogordo, New Mexico; he will be missed by his Marine Corps brothers and many family and friends.
