Cynthia Ann Easterwood, 64, a resident of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Hereford. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sam White officiating. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Cynthia was born on October 7, 1960, to Rex Wayne and Shirley Ann (Tucker) Easterwood in Dimmitt, Texas. Cynthia was raised in Hereford and graduated from Hereford High School in 1979. She graduated from Texas State Technical Institute (TSTI) with a degree in interior design and later attended and graduated from West Texas State University in Canyon with an art degree. Cynthia has lived in Hereford for the past three years, moving from Tennessee.  She loved her pets, especially her cats, her artwork, and gardening, both flowers and vegetables. Cynthia's presence, and beautiful smile will be missed by all who love her.

Those left to cherish her memories are her mother, Shirley Easterwood of Hereford, Texas; her son, Jack Buckles of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her uncle, Paul Easterwood of Houston, Texas; three aunts, Carla Beckman of Westminster, Colorado, Ellen Madrid and Sue Martinez both of Broomfield, Colorado and several cousins.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her father, Rex Wayne Easterwood and her grandparents.
