Cindy Smith, 67, of Hereford, Texas passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 in Amarillo. The Smith Family will be having a Memorial Service on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Barn Church in Hereford, TX. at 1:00 PM with Deacon Bill Turnbow officiating. Cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Cindy was born June 7, 1952 in Rotan, Texas to Alvin Shipp, Sr. and JoNell (Monsey) Shipp. Cindy has been a resident of Hereford most of her life. She has cowgirled for many feedyards in the Hereford area, Barrett and Crowfoot; Bar-G; Cattle Town and Seven X.

Cindy enjoyed riding horses, dancing, music and most of all being around her family, friends and her dogs. Cindy had the biggest heart you've ever known. She was an all-around cowgirl.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons Clint Smith of Arnett, OK., Clayton Smith of Amarillo, TX., Travin Smith of Addison, TX. and Joe Cass Shipp of Plainview, TX., one brother Butch Shipp, three nieces and several great nieces and nephews and four grandchildren.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
