Cecilia Presas Olguin, 66, of Hereford, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Memorial services will be at a later date.

Cecilia was born in Palacios, Texas, on March 29, 1955, to Begiguo and Anna Maria (Martinez) Presas. She moved to Dimmitt in 1964, then to Hereford in 1994. She married James Olguin on November 26, 2016, in Hereford, Texas. She was a devoted Jehovah's Witness and enjoyed going to their conventions, especially the one at the Dallas Cowboy's Stadium, she was a Cowboy's and Longhorn fan. Cecilia loved painting and decorating her home. She enjoyed watching butterflies and the birds coming to the feeders; she had fun traveling, especially to the lake in New Mexico.

Cecilia will be greatly missed by her husband, James Olguin of Hereford, Texas, her brothers Richard and his wife Christina, Joe and his wife Peggy all of Amarillo, Texas, Sergio and his wife Dora of Roswell, New Mexico and Rolando and his wife Racheal of Utah.

Cecilia is preceded in death by her father Begiguo, her mother Anna Maria and two sisters Grace Presas and Rosa Garcia.
