Carter James Durr, 21, of Hereford, Texas passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 in Hereford, Texas. Memorial Services will be at a later date. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Carter was born January 27, 1998 in Amarillo, Texas to Joei Kramer. Carter has been a resident of Amarillo all his life to just recently. He was an awesome son and dad, a best brother and uncle. He enjoyed being around his family. He lived his life to the fullest each day. Carter was a member of the LGBTQ+ community. His family stated, "he was just simply amazing and extraordinary".

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Joei Komer and husband James of Hereford, Texas; his children Jolene Preston, and Maverick Durr; his grandmother Lyn Ricketts of Amarillo, Texas; grandparents Kerry and Jeannie Schwartz of California; four sisters Ker-Lyn Willson and husband Rodney, Brittney Durr and Bailey Durr all of Amarillo, Texas and Raylee Komer of Hereford, Texas; an uncle Wes Schwartz of California, an aunt Laura Schwartz of Amarillo, Texas and several nieces and nephews, a great grandfather and many friends.

Carter is proceeded in death by his girlfriend Jamie Phillips and his grandmother Ladell Bradshaw.
