Carroll Ann Wells, 75, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at her home in Hereford, Texas. Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Westway Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Varner officiating. Graveside services will be on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 2:30 PM in Bellevue, Texas, at Bellevue Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Carroll was born on November 25, 1946, in Amarillo, Texas, to Ruben Hart and Eula Nadine (Reynolds) Pipkin. Carroll has been a resident of Hereford, Texas for 49 years. She married the love of her life, Tommy Wells, on July 24, 1973, in Clovis, NM. Carroll took much pride in raising her children and caring and working in all aspects with her husband on their farm; from going through cattle and counting baby calves to handling all farm equipment. She and Tommy owned and operated Flowers West for approximately 3 years and T Bar C Barbeque and Catering for 5 years. Carroll was a member of Westway Baptist Church and was named Queen of the Range Riders of Amarillo in 1963. Carroll loved prairie dog hunting, being with her husband and traveling all over the countryside, shopping, and was an avid Texas Tech football fan and a Dallas Cowboy fan. Carroll was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to many and will be missed dearly.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Tommy Wells of Hereford, Texas, a son Rob McCollum and his wife Renee of Canyon, Texas, three daughters Kay Lynn Marquez and her husband Leo of Rochester, Washington, Kelly Cummings and her husband Joey of Abilene, Texas, and Kristi Menix of Snyder, Texas, and a daughter-in-law Crystal Wells of Adrian, Texas; eighteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren; two brothers Charles Wilson of Pueblo, CO., and Gary Pipkin and his wife Jean of Kiowa, CO., and her beloved dachshund, Bucky Wells.

Carroll is preceded in death by her parents a son Shannon Wells and a brother Keith Adams.
