Carolyn Ann Schumacher, 67, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas.

Carolyn was born on August 27, 1957, in Hereford, Texas to Herman and Dorothy (Darilek) Schumacher. Carolyn lived in Amarillo at Legacy Rehabilitation and Living. She was a huge sports fan and especially enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys. Carolyn stayed busy playing games on her phone, playing bingo, and keeping up with the latest scores of football, basketball, or baseball. She also enjoyed reading her Bible. She worked for Pizza Hut in Canyon for many years. She loved her job and co-workers.

The world knew her as Carolyn but everyone in the family called her Carol. She loved her family and especially enjoyed family get-togethers (as long as she could get back home before the game started). That was part of Carol, and we enjoyed being with her and talking about sports. It didn't take much to please her and she didn't mind telling you what she needed to make her happy. We will miss her.

Those left to cherish her memories are siblings, Michael Schumacher and his wife Amy of Amarillo, Texas, Debra Schumacher of Amarillo, Texas, Robert Schumacher and his wife Gina of Colleyville, Texas, James Schumacher of Lubbock, Texas, and Diane Adams and her husband Charley of Amarillo, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carolyn has joined her parents, Herman and Dorothy Schumacher and brothers Lawrence Andrew Schumacher and Donald John Schumacher.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Hereford. Arrangements and Cremation Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.
