Burl Miller, 61, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in Amarillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 10:00AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Celebrant Rev. Nestor Lara officiating. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery under the care of Mendez & Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford. Rosary will be recited on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 6:00PM-6:30PM following a visitation from 6:30PM-7:30PM at Mendez & Mullins Family Funeral Home.

Burl Miller was born on March 21, 1958 in Tulia, Texas to Buster Miller and Leona (Miller) Schilling. Burl was a lifelong resident of Hereford. Burl married Paula Barber on December 30, 1978 at St. Anthony's Church in Hereford, TX. He was a longtime farmer and a custom farmer; Burl was a past member of the Hereford Grain Board, past President of the Parrish Council and past President of the Hereford Sports Association. Burl loved his family and attended all family events; he enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in their functions, he was known as "Hipaw" to his grandchildren. Burl was very bighearted and loved to help everyone he could. He enjoyed riding the razor and gardening; going to the lake and riding jet skis. Burl loved his Lord and was a lifelong member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Paula Miller of Hereford, Texas; his mother Leona Schilling of Hereford, Texas; two sons James Miller and his wife Annie of Canyon, Texas; Jacob Miller and his wife Christine of Hereford, Texas; two grandchildren Harper Miller and Bode Miller of Canyon, Texas; one brother Rodney Miller and his wife Pam of Canyon, Texas; one sister Peggy Babcock and her husband Tim of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his nephews and nieces, Sarah Miller, Aaron Miller, Julia Miller, Harrison Miller, Kaylee Babcock, Makenzie Babcock and a host of lifelong friends.

Burl is preceded in death by his father Buster Miller.
