Bryan Ortiz, 19, of Hereford, Texas passed away on August 11, 2025, in Hereford.

Bryan was born on January 8, 2006, in Temple, Texas. He is the beloved son of Mindy (House) and John Anthony Ortiz.

Bryan enjoyed hanging out with his friends, especially his brothers Nathan, Loki, and Azzy and spending time with his girlfriend Perla. He liked being a "Baddie", loved music and was entertained by playing video games. Bryan had a great sense of humor; he was smart loyal, kind, cheerful, and had a big heart.

He attended the Nazarene Family Church with his family and attended a Men's Group with Victory Family Church. He loved his family and always put them first.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, Mindy and John Anthony Ortiz of Hereford, Texas; siblings, Dahlila, Nevaeh, John Jr., and Zoey Ortiz all of Hereford, Texas; grandparents Bruce House and his wife Denise of Amarillo, Texas, Jana Longoria and her husband David of Temple, Texas, Irene Zamora of Hereford, Texas, and Guadalupe Ortiz II of Hereford, Texas; great grandparents Judy and Dave Faubion of Temple, Texas; girlfriend Perla Aparisio of Hereford, Texas, dog Bella, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his great grandparents Coy and Lou House, aunt Brenda Gomez and uncle Dewayne House.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Bryan will be on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Nazarene Family Church in Hereford with Pastor Ted Taylor Officiating. Viewing and Visitation will be on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements and Cremation Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.
