Blanca Castillo, 63, of Hereford, Texas passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. Viewing will be Saturday, October 5, 2019 beginning at 1:00 PM-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Rosary will be recited Saturday evening at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Blanca was born July 9, 1956 in Dimmitt, Texas to Ramon Guzman Castillo and Mercedes (Baijen) Castillo. Blanca has been a resident of Hereford, Texas all her life. She worked for Holly Sugar for 15 years; she was also employed with Kings Manor Methodist Retirement Home for 4 years. Blanca enjoyed knitting, baking cookies and holiday goodies but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children Yvette Castillo and her husband Roberto, Jr. of Hereford, Texas; Maria DeLaCruz of Amarillo, Texas; Lynette Castillo and her husband Joe Perez of Lubbock, Texas and Julian Juarez, Jr. of Hereford, Texas; four sisters Mary Garcia; Judy Montez and her husband Joe; Carmel Cervantez and her husband Jesse all of Hereford, Texas; Rosie Sanchez and her husband Richard of Kress, Texas and one brother Roy Castillo and his wife Lupe of Amarillo, Texas; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Blanca is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Julian Juarez, Sr.; five brothers and one sister.
